I’m inspired by the impact music can have on people in diverse contexts and I am committed to making sure that people of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy being creative through music.
With experience as a youth worker, education project leader, secondary school teacher and mentor, I offer songwriting and creative music making workshops for children, young people and adults of all ages and abilities.
I have a particular interest in working with people to explore cultural heritage and to share hidden stories from the past through song.

For example, with support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund I delivered a programme youth songwriting Never Had They Ever. Songwriters aged 13-19yrs composed songs for the first time in response to local First World War archive materials.

A follow on youth songwriting project explored the impact of the First World War on the campaign for votes for women: What Did it Do For Her?.
