SPEAKER

With a particular interest in using music to share hidden stories from the past, I accept bookings to speak at events and conferences about public engagement with heritage and about my work as an artist, responding to research about the past.

Women & Power was a conference organised by the National Trust and the University of Oxford which brought together professionals from across the academic and heritage sectors. I spoke about my work engaging people with hidden women’s stories and performed a song from The Hard Way: the story of working class suffragette Hannah Mitchell. I performed at Salisbury’s first TEDx.

I have spoken and performed songs at a number of conferences about women in the First World War including Legacies of the First World War at Glasgow Women’s Library, the Women’s History Network annual conference and at the House of Commons as part of a project funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
