Pop-Up Pedestal is a street theatre performance inspired by the song ‘Pedestal’ which I wrote for my touring production ‘Florence‘. It explores public spaces and asks who we commemorate and why. Who deserves a place on the pedestal in 2021 and how should history be presented in our towns and streets, on our plaques and memorials?
